Recently Karen and I started Postcrossing. Basically Postcrossing is a way for people to receive postcards from all over the world. The main idea is that: if you send a postcard, you will receive at least one back from a random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world. So far I have received 17 postcards from around the world that have traveled 86,658 miles. I have sent 20 postcards that have traveled a distance of 97,780 miles.
